Opera is focusing really hard on their mobile browsers as updates and upgrades are rolling out quickly. The latest is for the Android and Symbian users. Opera Mini 5.1 is now available for phones built on the Android platform. This version, that’s available through the Android Market app on your handset is designed to offer better browsing performance and an overall improved user experience. You can also download it from your handset’s native browser from m.opera.com.
There’s nothing remarkably new with the layout when compared to previous versions but yes there is a slight difference in speed as well as a certain ease of access to all settings, bookmarks etc. The version 5.1 has been created to offer improved page layout on high-end Android handsets with large screens and it delivers quite well on these fronts.

With this new edition you should get a speedier browsing experience. Geolocation capabilities that can be switched on or off if you require privacy, has also been added to the list of features.
